"Don't talk. Just get into the car." Reirei whispered as she moved to the van crouching with the rest. Reia was insatiable. "Mom follow them but don't make it so obvious." The red car zoomed from left to right chasing the white van but the van in frount of them didn't notice them at all. The white van parked in front of the bank where Reia's dad worked. When Joy turned to look at her hand watch she saw it was 9:00. Guess Reia has to change karaoke to 10:00 through 12:00. They couldn't go in the bank if they did they were sure to get caught in such a wide spacious area. So Mrs.Post decided to follow them from windows, there was almost fifty windows in the bank. Window to window they went until Mr.Malevolent and Mr.Bad helper got on the elevator to the 3rd floor where Hurk and the bank manger were having a meeting. Only one person could fit in the little patio in apartments looking things.
"Umm not it!" Joy shouted not wanting to go up there.
"We have to deal with this in a appropriate way. The person who turned 16 has to go up there!" Mrs.Post blurted pointing at Reia. Reia looking not so sure, looked at how much time we had , not much. If her lazy mom isn't going to do it and her "too cool" best friend is not going to do it either that only left her.
"Are you kidding me! It's my birthday!" Reia whined repeating in her head "I am not going to die."
"Exactly! Because you just turned 16 so... Happy birthday!" Her mom said trying to think of more things to say. Reia took a deep big breath and started to climb on the bricks of the bank.
"A little help here!" Reia Shouted down to Mrs.Couch potato and Joy or as Reia said Boy. "Ugh!" Reia added as she rolled her eyes and groaned
"Oh right right right sorry." They both jinxed as they pushed Reia to the silver balcony for Reia to get a reach of the bars with her hands. Reia forced herself up even thought she was super exhausted. Right when her feet touched the floor of the high balcony she looked out at the window and saw Hurk and other formal dressed people, she tried to exam the room for Mr.Jefferson and her dad. But when she looked she didn't see her dad only saw Mr.Jefferson and Mr.Jefferson which made her feel like she had a pefect chance to save her dad.
"Joy! Mom! Up here! I just saw Mr.Jefferson and Mr.Jefferson but not d- AHHHHHHHH!!!!!!" Reia shouted as her body fliped over and over all the way into a bush where a vagrant cat went "Meow!" and screeched at the leaf monster. Hurk who apparently was watching Reia came all the way down to make sure she was ok.
"Sweetie are you alright? What happened?" Mrs.Post shouted rushing toward her with Hurk and Joy.
"I'll get the first aid kit." Hurk cried rushing toward the enterance of the bank. Reia opened her brown eyes trying to picture what just happened.
"Umm mom? Joy? Is that you? Oh right well I didn't see dad in there which means we can look for him." Reirei said lying back down.
"Oh well than we should go look for Mr.Post." Joy cried helping her friend up from the big fall. Hurk came back with a suitcase with the sign that said "First aid kit" and a red cross.
"There you go!" Hurk exclaimed as he put the light brown bandaid on Reia's head to prevent the bruise to stop bleeding. "Oh and Mr.Jefferson and his brother are just taking the money that owns to your dad and was gonig to give it to the Posts but what are you doing here?"
"We are trying to look for my dad. He's not dead, Mr.Jefferson adultnapped him I saw him in Vista all tied up in the mens bathroom." Reia quickly replyed, a little shocked but not too much cause she knew it was all Mr.Jefferson's plan.
"I'm so sorry I didn't know. I mean I would love to help your family so much but I am so busy with my job what can I do?" Hurk questioned.
"You can distract Mr.Jefferson and Mr.Jefferson so we have some time to look in their van." Mrs.Post added walking toward the white van waving bye and thank you to Hurk. The three of them quickly ran to the van parked in the frount row far from their car and started to try all doors if they were open. And luckiley the trunk had been open.

24 Hours of Gloominess: Chapter 8 Party?
When Reirei arrived at her house/party, the party people who didn't even notice Reirei leave came running toward her like a herd and started shouting the happy birthday song. Reia felt so loved but still slight mad and glum for not saving her dad, she knew she had to be perpared for anything thant came next.
"Happy birthday to you!" thousands of people sang as they finished it off with claps and happy birthdayz.
"Thanks, thank you! Oh my gosh! You guys!" Reirei screamed in happieness as she ran upstairs to cut her dress. Right when she entered her room there she spotted some red scissors. The 16 year old girl truncated her dress up to her knees and rushed out of the room back to the jubilant people at her party from school some freshman, sophomore, junior, and, senior. Reia was really glad for like five minutes until she remembered the malevolent Mr.Jefferson. Now it was 8:30, and Reia really started to pace back and forth.
"Mom, I have to tell you something. Well I kind of saw dad." Reia started to talk.
"Honey, I think your just seeing things. And if you did where is he?" Her mother responded sounding kinder than ever.
"No, really honest, I really saw dad with my very own eyes! And I could't get him he was tied up mouth taped in the big stall of the boy's bathroom. I was trying to get him untied but I just got a rope burn. Mr.Jefferson is all behind this! Please you have to help!" Reia screamed as she pictured her dad at that very moment. Mrs. Post has agreed to come along cause after all Mr.Post is Mrs.Post's husband.
"Hey Reirei my bff! We're gonna do karaoke in 30 more minutes and make parody to songs, come on!" Joy cried. Pointing to the garage.
"I know, but we need your help, the party people can wait right? I mean finding my dad is more important especially on my birthday, so you in or what?" Reirei questioned sounding as if she was in a secret agent business. The three of them got in the red as a tomato car and went along to Vista, of course Mrs.Post was driving.
Meanwhile the three of them were on there way to Vista, at the house the Jake crew were keeping the party people real busy by telling them to practice their dance moves.
"We're here, I guess we just go in." Mrs.Post exclaimed walking towards the door with the closed sign.
"Oh no! It's closed! But we just-" Joy started to say but luckily Reia caught a glimpse of something she had seen before and shut Joy's mouth by putting her hands to her mouth. The van.

24 Hours of Gloominess Chapter 7: Happens
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Reia screamed in her head so no one could hear her. She quickley paniked and opened the stall. ll Gasp ll It was Mr.Post, her dad! Mr. Post couldn't talk because his mouth was taped too.
Reirei tried to untie the rope but the rope was as hard as a rock all double knoted. She couldn't get it to break free. Just then, she heard slow foot prints coming toward her and her dad. She climbed with her rock climbing skills from her 6th birthday and climbed up to the bathroom window and hid. Right when Reirei heard his voice she knew that it was Mr.Jefferson....
"Well now that I have you where's the money!?" the man screamed as his voice ringed in the bathroom.
"Mhmmhm" Mr.Post mumbled trying to say I will never tell you!
"NOW THAT I HAVE TRICKED YOUR DAUGHTER SHE WILL NEVER NOW WHO DID THIS! HEHEHEHE!" Mr.Jefferson shouted once more and made a evil laugh that gave Reia the goose bumps. Mr.Jefferson and his brother carried the chair that has Mr.Post on it to his van. And Reia had followed very carfully. Reia didn't really know what to do, she just used the skills in the book Nacy Drew, she read that when she was 10 years old and still remebered. Mr.Adultnapper and Mr.bad helper carried Reia's dad all the way to the white colored strange van. While Reirei was chasing the bad guys her dress had been steped on her black and white worn-a-lot sneakers and that made the zebra stirped dress look more like black zebra stripes at the bottom. But, she had no time to waste she hurried along wanting to cut her dress or change. She chased them until they started to drive away.
"I need to get them! They took my dad!!!!! Ugh" Reirei shouted as the car vanished in the gas smoke. Reia got in her convertible and started to drive real slowley to her party thinking "I'm so stupid!"

24 Hours of Gloominess Chapter 6: Reveals
It was now 7:00 only two more hours till the dancing (The REAL party).
"Let me get his straight, so Mr.Jefferson killed my dad and Mr.Jefferson went somewhere, AND, I am talking to my self. Eww, what is that gross SMELL? Snif Snif." Reia thought in her head as she opened her brown eyes and found herself smelling a shoe. Joy's shoe.
"It worked! She woke up." Joy hinted as she strolled the sneaker away from her friend's nose.
"What are you trying to do? Paralyze me!?" Reia questioned. "Ok, I know I have been acting weird latley and smelling weird things too, but what if my dad isn't dead after all? "Because in the note we read earlier it said "I will be trying to get more money". So maybe he's making my dad take money out of the bank he works at and ordering it to the school by calling the bank and letting Mr.Jefferson talk on the phone because remember my dad is dead."
"WHOA! Slow down, you have a detailed BRAIN!" Joy cried doing a coocoo sign that was pointing at Reia.
"But what if..what if that was true?" Reia exclaimed as she stood up and paced toward her party.
"What if there was no what ifs?" Joy replyed as she followed Reirei into the party. Reia was stuck. Just stuck. Reia, once again for the 3rd time snuck out back to Vista Ridge with her hot car and hid the cute car right by this other red car.
"Hello! Hello?!" Reia screamed twice. Her voice echoed inside the building.
"Shhhh. There are some people talking afternoon classes. And who are you?" a woman cried.
"Umm... sorry, I thought the school was empty. Oh and my name is Reia I just came here to see if Mr.Jefferson was here.
"Well, I saw him in the Boy's restroom. But you should wait when he is done you wouldn't want to go in there." the woman said.
"Thank you!" Reia cried as she headed toward the boy's restroom.
"Tick tick tick tick." Reia's watch ticked as Reia started to give up.
"Oh COME ON!" Reia shouted getting annoyed that Mr.Jefferson wasn't coming out. After 10 minutes later Reia starred at the clock, it was 7:30. Finally Reia stepped into the boys bathroom and thinking in her head "It isn't the end of the world. He has to be in there not just to go to the restroom but to do something secret"
Reia tried not to make a peep. She even took off her convers to they won't squeak. She slowley looked into every stall from the crack and trying to aviod the gross smell. None. When she reached the biggest last stall her eyes caught something! A man tied up!

24 Hours of Gloominess Chapter 5: The Talk with Mr.J.
"Mr.Jefferson! Huh,huh,huh." Reia screamed as she bargged into Vista Ridge.
"What seems to be the problem? Oh and I am very sorry about the accident about your father and happy birthday!" Mr.Jefferson quickley cried.
"Thank you. I came here to say did you see it happen? You know the accident about my dad?" Reia quiestioned still trying to catch her breath.
"No, of course not, I am way too far busy to see what goes on outside of this building. One of my PTA members had seen it. So I told my brother and because your dad was really ric- I mean important so I decided to put it on the news." Mr.Jefferson said.
"Oh, well thank you for this little talk. Bye." Reia replyed gloomly as she waved bye and jogged away. But while she was walking, the conner of her eyes caught a convertable that was the same exact one she had got for her 16th birthday by her very own dad!
"Oh my gosh! It Isn't ruined!" Reia shouted as she rushed over to the veichle. "Mr.Jefferson or the PTA member must have made up an lie! And Mr.Jefferson was about to say umm... rip, rit, rig, RICH! So Mr.Jefferson just wanted to have the money! I knew I couldn't turst that old man! " Reia screamed all in frustration as she got into her birthday gift and started to drive real slow like an turtle so she wouldn't get caught driving with no drivers licences.
"Mom!!!" Reia said as loud as her voice would last.
"Honey you got the car back? It Isn't ruined?" Reia's mom cried confussed.
"You know Mr.Jefferson, well he killed our dad, he just wanted to get into his wallet!" Reia screamed.
"I knew I couldn't trust that old man!" Reia's mom cried sounding as if she had just solved an mysterey. Mrs.Post and herself paced to Joy to tell her the "news".
"OMG! I knew I couldn't trust that old man!" Joy screamed.
"Yep, we are all on the same page." Reirei exclamied. So what should we do? I mean it's not like we solved anything. They just rested and thought of ideas that poped in their heads.
"I've got it! We should team up!" Joy said as she ran to go grab Josh, Jake, and Jake's group(3 people) from the party so that they would have a group. Jake was with Joy, Jake's group was together, and Reia and her mom were together.The eight people marched to Vista Ridge with all of the girls dresses flowing in the wind. They tip-toed to Mr.Jefferson's office to find any luck. Luckely they found a notebook paper crumbled note saying "Dear family, dad went to work today and got over 100 dollers! Aren't I an awesome worker? In the meanwhile daddy will be in the building trying to get more money. If you need me I will be in the computer lab. If I am not there I am somewhere else in the building. Love, Your dad." read the note.
"Ugh!" Reirei screamed showing a disgusted face after she had read the note.
"He is in the computer lab! Now we surley got him!" Jake shouted heading toward the computer lab.
"Not so fast! He wrote that in the note so if the note ever gets in the wrong hands no one will really know where he is dummie!" Reia cried as Joy her friend blurted "BURNed!"
"How about we split up?" Mrs.Post asked as they all agreed and spilt in other dierections like a bunch of ants doing their job. Jake who still couldn't understand what Reia had told him checked the computer lab just to be sure. Reia on the other hand checked all the classrooms upstairs and found no luck. They practicaly tore up the whole building. Nobody from the group had luck. All of them were bummed out execpt Reia who was quiet ever since they went on the search for her dad. She was thinking really hard and everybody knew that she was because she was doing her thinking face which looked like she was a blind person trying to read something.
"Hmm... hmmm...hmmm." Reia mumbled still thinking.
"Ok, we get it with the hmmm thing ma bob. Can we just get this over with? We are going to miss Reia's party!" Joy exclaimed. They stumbled back home where the party was. 24 Hours of Gloominess Chapter 4: The Party Hourz
"-Potter Jefferson." Reia repeated reading the last part of the article on her bed. " I've heard that name before. I got it! That's Mr.Jefferson our princabal's brother.
"Honey! Time to have your early lunch before your party! Bring Josh too." Mrs.Post bellowed as she finished her third hot cake.
"Yo dude!" Josh yelled to Reia as he sat down in his chair.
"I am a dudet." Reia cried as her spit went flying to Josh's face.
"Dude,dudet whatever, but now you can't get your drivers and I am not going to teach you." Josh bragged as he dryed off the spit with his hairy arm.
"Why would I want to learn from you?" Reia questioned enjoying herself with another peice of hot cake
"Are you guys fighting again? We don't need the drama, we had enough today." Mrs.Post said as she wrapped the 50 hot cakes. The rest of the eating was quiet. The only sound that was made was the chewing noise of the Post's eating. Until Reia broke the silence.
"Ya, the party is starting a 6:00 and right now it is...5:40! We already decorated the garage and the backyard for the party! Eeek! Can't wait see you there! Love ya Joy!" Reia shouted as she hung up her phone. "Starts at six till ten! See you there!" "Starts at six!" Reia shouted inviting everybody she knew. For the next 10 minutes the birthday girl thought about things such as her dad and Potter Jerfferson stuff. The only thing she knew was she had made a big mistake about her framing Hurk. For the other 10 minutes she changed into a zebra printed strapless dress with a pink giant bow in the middle and left her hair hanging.
"Ding dong ding dong!" the door bell loudley beeped.
"Heyyyyyy Heyyyyyy Heyyyyyy!" Reia screamed as 20 people passed her rectangle door to the backyard, while the crazy people were passing bye Reia got a lot of happy birthday shout outs. Josh was spending time by the chocolate fountain while the other guests were dancing their skills off!
"I guess everybody is having fun."Reia's mom said to Reia in the kitchen by them selfs.
"Ya, everybody except me. I just wish dad was here." Reia replyed giving out a big sigh.
"Aww honey.Might as well have fun, it is your sweet 16th birthday." Mrs.post cried as she gave a pat to Reia on her back. Reia slowley walked out to her backyard where everybody was eating.
"Reirei! Finally found you! When does the karaoke and dancing begin?" Joy asked.
"At nine till ten!" Reia anwsered as she tried to sound as if she was having the best 16th birthday ever when she was kinda not. Reia stepped into her own party and was beginging to have fun. While people were getting refreashments, Reia decided to sneak out to her school to talk to Mr.Jefferson.
"Honey! Time to have your early lunch before your party! Bring Josh too." Mrs.Post bellowed as she finished her third hot cake.
"Yo dude!" Josh yelled to Reia as he sat down in his chair.
"I am a dudet." Reia cried as her spit went flying to Josh's face.
"Dude,dudet whatever, but now you can't get your drivers and I am not going to teach you." Josh bragged as he dryed off the spit with his hairy arm.
"Why would I want to learn from you?" Reia questioned enjoying herself with another peice of hot cake
"Are you guys fighting again? We don't need the drama, we had enough today." Mrs.Post said as she wrapped the 50 hot cakes. The rest of the eating was quiet. The only sound that was made was the chewing noise of the Post's eating. Until Reia broke the silence.
"Ya, the party is starting a 6:00 and right now it is...5:40! We already decorated the garage and the backyard for the party! Eeek! Can't wait see you there! Love ya Joy!" Reia shouted as she hung up her phone. "Starts at six till ten! See you there!" "Starts at six!" Reia shouted inviting everybody she knew. For the next 10 minutes the birthday girl thought about things such as her dad and Potter Jerfferson stuff. The only thing she knew was she had made a big mistake about her framing Hurk. For the other 10 minutes she changed into a zebra printed strapless dress with a pink giant bow in the middle and left her hair hanging.
"Ding dong ding dong!" the door bell loudley beeped.
"Heyyyyyy Heyyyyyy Heyyyyyy!" Reia screamed as 20 people passed her rectangle door to the backyard, while the crazy people were passing bye Reia got a lot of happy birthday shout outs. Josh was spending time by the chocolate fountain while the other guests were dancing their skills off!
"I guess everybody is having fun."Reia's mom said to Reia in the kitchen by them selfs.
"Ya, everybody except me. I just wish dad was here." Reia replyed giving out a big sigh.
"Aww honey.Might as well have fun, it is your sweet 16th birthday." Mrs.post cried as she gave a pat to Reia on her back. Reia slowley walked out to her backyard where everybody was eating.

24 Hours of Gloominess Chapter 3: The Odds
"NO! This can't be not on my 16th birthday!!!" Reia yelled with some tears. Sooner or later Reia's check was dripping with tears and her face was drowned in color. Also,her hot pink pillow was soaking wet. The Posts didnt't have a good half day so far especially Reia beacause her dad had passed away and also there was no one to teach her to drive on her 16th birthday.
"I had waited for the BEST 16th birthday ever but I guess I didn't." Reia said after a long period of silence. At 4:30pm Reia's brain cleared out of all the junk about crying because that didn't help at all. Then, all of a sudden she remembered something! She asked herself "How could dad have died? He was with me... That means sombody killed him maybe when I went to grab my friends."
"Mom, I will be back I just got to grab my math text book at the school." Reia told her mom knowing that lying wasen't the good thing but she had to do it. She rode her bike to her dad's work, the Cedar Park Bank.
"What have you done to my dad! Spill it! I know karate and I am not afraid to use thoughs skills!" Reia shouted barging into the bank. Everybody who was working in peace just starred at the16 year old teen.
"Young lady! This is a bank not a play room!" a manager shouted. After an awkward silence Reia spoke.
"FYI! I just turned 16! I need to speak to Hurk." Reia cried feeling confident. A man in a plad uniform stepped foward to the front where Reia was and the mighty manager was.
"Yes? I am Hurk." the man spoke.
"What have you done to my dad? And how did you know my dad died maybe because you killed him!" Reia shouted jumping ahead of her plan. The workers formed a crowd and they oood and aaad. The manager's face turned the color of an ripe tomato, showing that she was angry.
"I didn't kill your dad! Why would I kill your dad, he was by favorite partner! Now I've got Colban! No offence." Hurk explained as he shurged his shoulders.
"Hey!" Colban bursted.
"Then how did you know my dad died?" Reia blurted. Once again the mob of people oood and aaad.
"Because it was on the newspaper." Hurk cried pointing at the newspaper he had picked out this morning. "He died because a car bumped into him while he got out of your new car." Hurk said. Right when Hurk said that the crowd was quiet. Hurk gave Reia the newspaper to read and Reia rode her hot pink bike to her house.
